Leadership David Saar, CEO David Saar, is Grip®’s President and CEO. Prior to founding the company in 2003, David held a senior level product management position at Lucent Technologies. He has had a distinguished 26 year career working in high tech companies such as Advanced Fiber Optics Corp, GTE, Siemens, and AGCS (a GTE-AT&T joint venture). He has served in positions of increasing responsibility including hardware design and planning, manufacturing, product management, sales, marketing, and business development. David has laid the vision for Grip® as the first company to transform the professional AV environment with network-based solutions that simplify operations while providing more control, functionality and flexibility. As a performer most of his life, touring with several groups as a musician, vocalist, and production engineer, David’s diverse experience gives him a solid understanding of the professional AV environment and various aspects of event production. David has received several top awards for business impact and technical achievement, holds a U.S. Patent and represents the company in national standards development. He earned an MBA, with distinction, from Keller Graduate School of Management and has a BSEE from Colorado State University. Rich Dobrovich, VP of Business Development & Operations Rich Dobrovich was named as Grip®’s VP of Business Development & Operations in March of 2008. He leads our effort in the areas of new business initiatives, channel development and business operations including contract manufacturing, order fulfillment, customer support, product release control and quality assurance. Prior to joining Grip®, Rich served as a divisional VP of Business Development at Lucent Technologies and has had a distinguished 30 year career working for high tech companies. While holding key leadership positions at AGCS, he led the effort to launch several new products including Intelligent Network, Voice-Over-Cable, and IP PBX. He received the top award for innovation at AGCS and also holds a patent. He earned a BS degree in Business Management from Eastern Illinois University. Jerry Springfield, VP of Sales and Marketing Jerry Springfield was named as Grip®’s VP of Sales and Marketing in March of 2008. He leads all Grip® sales and marketing initiatives including the management of our direct and channel distribution sales activities. Prior to joining Grip®, Jerry served as a divisional VP of Sales at Lucent Technologies with accountability for annual sales revenue exceeding $400M. During his highly successful 30 year career, Jerry held several other key sales and marketing leadership positions at other high tech companies including AGCS and GTE. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. |
